The Blue Ridge Land Rover club is an association of Land Rover owners who enjoy exchanging information and experiences associated with these unique vehicles. Mostly from the states of Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Tennessee, and North Carolina, members meet at Rallies to show off their vehicles and test their driving skills in off-road situations. All models of Land Rovers are welcomed by the membership.
Note that Rick Allen's Great Divide Range Rover is show in this video.
The Blue Ridge Land Rover Club was formed on a cold, wet and muddy weekend in Round Hill, Virginia on May 13 and 14, 1989. The premier meeting of the BRLRC was conveyed mainly to get together with a bunch of kindred sprits, share experiences and tips and talk about Rovers. Over the years the Rovers have changed, but the sprit and comrade of the members roves on.
The BRLRC participates in four of it's own events each year. Two are pre-scheduled (MayDay and Groundhog Day) and two float around other club's events. All activities that the club sponsors are family orientated and open to all members of the family. You must be a member to participate in a BRLRC sponsored event. Check out the Upcoming Events page for details.
The club also participates in events such as the National Land Rover Rally, Mid-Atlantic Rally, and others as a BRLRC group. Carrying our banner and proud heritage with us wherever we go. Many members proudly sport a full size tire cover with the clubs logo on it.
Being a "Family Oriented" club The Blue Ridge Land Rover Club strives to provide Land Rover related activities for every member of the family. At our sponsored events eating seems to always be a part of the activities, so come hungry; bring the 'kids', 'rover', and your Land Rover. They are all welcome at a Blue Ridge Land Rover event.
Cost of membership and requirements are fully explained on our Club Information page, so surf (or rove) on over and check us out.
Happy Rovering...
